AVAST TROUBLE??HELP

"xp home dial up" i had avast before but forgot to register licence so i had to download it again now the trouble is is that when i download it around the last 50mins or so the connection resets and cuts the download off i have tried to download 4 times and the same thing happens is it to do with my settings in connection or is it the download itself??

I can only offer two suggestions. One would be to boot to safe mode with networking and try your download. This might prevent background services and apps from interfering. Another would be to beg a friend with broadband to get this for you.

either having a friend with broadband download the Avast program or going to either a school or public library and seeing if you can download it.

If you still have it installed you can go to this link and register for a new license which you will get by email along with instructions for registering it.
